Welcome!

Welcome to Penn Neuro Know!  We are Carolyn and Sarah, two fourth-year PhD students in the Neuroscience Graduate Group at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.

In the lab we’re used to communicating our research to other scientists, but both of us are really eager to describe exciting neuroscience findings to people who don’t spend their day slicing and dicing brains.  We hope that here you’ll not only learn some interesting facts, but also understand the science behind the discoveries.

The two of us will be posting articles every other week to start, while we rally more graduate students to write about their favorite neuroscience topics.  So stay tuned for new articles, or if you’d like to read about a certain subject, feel free to let us know!
